Imports and Dog Sports

Europe continues to out produce the rest of the world when it comes to working dog breeding. This includes the breeding of German Shepherds as well as Belgian Malinois. None of this is not by accident, but by design. The breeding of working dogs, like that of horses, is controlled. As a result the world looks to Europe for superior character, soundness in temperament, the natural instincts required to perform as working dogs, correct structure as well as dogs that are overall stunning in appearance.

In turn, European dog sports such as the sports of Schutzhund and French Ring have also become recognized by pet owners around the world. European dogs and European training has become synonymous with excellence. Although training a dog for dog sports prepares them for just that - sport, it certainly provides for a useful foundation on which to build.

All of CPI's dogs are imported from Europe. The majority of which enter our comprehensive training programs. We also offer adults trained and/ or titled in one of Europe's many dog sports including Schutzhund, French Ring, Belgian Ring, Mondio Ring and the KNVP (Royal Dutch Police Dog Association).
